2009 California World Challenge

 Rules: National Federation High School Rules (45 minute rest between matches not in effect).

 Entry Fee/Deadline: $26.00 October 5, 2009 11 pm (PST) -Late Registration ($36) closes October 8, 2009 8 pm (PST)  

Registration: Online only www.trackingwrestling.com Wrestler may enter only one weight and only one division. Must make weight entered. No changes at weigh-in (can email weight changes until late registration ends). No late entries/walk-ins. Entries will be confirmed via e-mail.

 Seeding: Wednesday evening (October 7). Entries received after this meeting (7 pm) will not be seeded.

Tentative Schedule: WI – Friday (9th) 6-8 pm Wrestling starts Saturday (10th) 8 am (Sunday if needed) Time schedule will be posted at weigh-ins. We have NOT wrestled Sunday in previous years.  USA CARD – Need 2010 card!!! As of September 1st USA Cards need to be purchased on-line at www.themat.com

 ADMISSIONS – Adults – $5 Students/Children – $2 Coaches w/USA Card – Free

 COACHING: Floor pass required. Coaches floor passes will only be issued to those individuals with a current USAW Coach Membership. Two certified coaches maximum in each competitor’s corner.

 MEDICAL INFORMATION: Athletes must submit to a skin disease screening prior to weigh-in. The chief medical officer has full authority without appeal in determining the eligibility of an athlete to compete. In the event of injury or illness, no contestant will be permitted to continue the competition without approval of the Chief Medical Officer, whose decision is final and not subject to appeal.

FORMAT: Double Elimination – Referee decisions final. All protests to be directed to tournament directors. All age protests must be made before final match of first day of wrestling for that particular age group. Birth certificates must be available if requested by tournament directors.

WEIGH-INSWEIGH-INS: Each athlete will be allowed two consecutive attempts to make weight and may not leave the weigh-in area. Athletes must weigh-in wearing a singlet.
